Corroded terminal

I've tried to clean it with alcohol, baking soda paste, a toothbrush, and a q tip

I cant clean it even by scraping it off


Also there's rust so I may as well learn to solder on this

Is this the battery terminal on a Wii Remote? If so, try distilled white vinegar on a qtip to fizzle off the battery acid/rust, clean with another qtip, and then apply 91% IPA with a Qtip to the terminal and clean. It won't look perfect, but it will look better.

A fiberglass brush is very effective against stubborn corrosion.

I have 99+ IPA I'll try vinegar next
