I recently modded my Wii u with aroma (latest).
I have an older 8BitDo Ultimate 2 controller, that i tried to connect via both the Wii menu pairing and with Koopair, but as I see, it won't connect out-of-the-box because it's not switch compliant.
I see, that aroma offers to install hid2vpad, but i can;t seem to launch it, only to learn, that it;s still not ready for aroma release, and I really don't want to install tiramisu.
Are there any other options to connect the controller?
I tried both the bluetooth and 2.4gHz, none worked, it has an USB dongle tho, have not tried that one yet, could it work?

a bit late but afaik there is only one way around it and it's exactly what you don't want to do, and of course you can get another controller but that's just silly
I've been trying to connect my controller (which is the same as yours btw) and there's no use, but I still trying another things
I'll let you know if I get it working :P

Where did you get your copy of HIDtoVpad? https://aroma.foryour.cafe/ doesn't have it as an option. I have a memory of it being available from the Aroma Discord server, but can't now locate it there. The three copies of it I have downloaded are all the same version from April 2023 avaialble from https://gbatemp.net/threads/compilation-of-plugins-apps-for-aroma.631167/.

It would be worth trying it wired with HIDtoVpad if it's not working over Bluetooth in Bloopair. Otherwise I'm not sure what to try. What controller does your computer report it as being in the three connection modes?
