Any way to convert NSP to NSZ while installed on switch? If not I think that should be a thing. Would be a great feature for Tinfoil! Also if not, does anyone have a suggestion on the best way to accomplish this with the least amount of work? Need to make room on my memory card and want all my installed games as NSZ. Also, none of my backups are on my computer.

NSZ and NSP are exactly the same thing after being installed. NSZ is only useful when storing the file on your computer.

as @Lacius said. Nsz format was created to reduce the size of the files. It's a compressed version of an nsp, but when you install said nsz. It decompresses to the original nsp file size. At the moment afaik, there is no way to keep the compressed size when installing NASA's.

Okay thanks for clearing that up. I was assuming that feature would have been here by now. Guess it's time to upgrade my micro SD from 500 GB to 1 TB! Or a bigger NAND? I saw somewhere that that is a thing now. I wonder how much bigger is possible!? or if only there were a way to use multiple micro SD cards.

I did see where it's possible to store files on Google drive as a cloud for games. Is there anyway to setup your PC as a cloud instead?

That is awesome! Thank you for showing this to me. I remember when Dragon Injector was first announced as an idea. Really hoping this becomes reality too!

Right now I see them going for $259 USD, I've seen where people have seen them for less on black Friday last year (hard to believe though). I might just wait a little bit longer to see if i can catch a sale. Unless that is the sale, then I should go ahead and get it.

got my 1TB card for $199.99 on amazon black Friday. I have 104 games on it with all dlc and 360GBs left of space.

$259 is a lot of cash for such a tiny thing that could corrupt anytime and force you to re-install everything, wasting your precious time. How many games do you need available to play immediately? For most people, I would guess no more than 15-20, so a 256GB microSD should be enough. If you really need a huge number of games available at once, there's always SXOS hard disk support to keep it cheap, but of course, you'd lose portability.

shouldn't be a problem with fat32. that's suggested instead of exfat if you want to avoid corruption. I've never had my sd card get corrupted.

I'm all digital, so the space is being used. I just got done playing around with odyssey. I periodically backup the micro sd card just in case anyway. I'll back it up again once trails in the sky is released.

make that paper mario and the origami king that's the only other game I have prepurchased. it's on there, just waiting for the update for it to be playable. it could be a ticket or more.
