Hey guys,

is there a way to convert an .elf-file to an .rpx-file?

I've tried makerpl64.exe but I always get "ERROR "xxxx.elf" has no relocations. Cannot make an RPL from it. Return -1"
I've used the command:
Code:
makerpl64.exe -f -z9 -s xxxx.elf

It depends on what kind of ELF you're using; something like a HBL elf (or a browserhax elf, remember those?) will always fail, but something converted from an rpx should work okay.
You could also try the epf2rpl tool included in WUT.

Ah, I see.
I wanted to convert Homebrew-elfs to rpx/rpl to install them on Home Menu (replace all needed files from my Unity Project with the custom rpx/rpl)

It will be great if we had a version of hbl that can ben installed with wup installer. I prefer that than the coldboot hack or rednand for me so keep it up !!!

There is.

Maschell demonstrated it earlier today, but its for rednand only for now......

@KiiWii I know this thread is old, but please edit the vid link out or something. I think the domain was sold and now it redirects to some... websites...

I've tried using makerpl64 and makerpl32 but I'm also receiving the "*** Error "xxxx.elf" has no relocations. Cannot make an RPL from it. Return -1" error. At first I put a more complex .elf, so I decided to go with a simpler one like Flappy Bird, but still the same error. I tried searching for this epf2rpl tool but can't find anywhere (I searched through the WUT too, but couldn't find it, only if I'm at the wrong part or something). So yeah, if you know where I can find the tool or the reason MakerRPL doesn't want to work, I'd appreciate it!! :)
