So I randomly had the idea to control my 3ds xl with my other 3ds. Sadly enough it doesn't really seem to work because I don't understand vJoy at all.

I tried this all using this homebrew https://gbatemp.net/threads/3ds-controller.375443/
And this video by TCPixel

If there is someone else that is willing to help then that is really appreciated since I can't figure it out anymore

Tell me how it "doesnt work"

I can't seem to use the circle pad pro. And I don't know how to fix this and stuff. I have gotten further to get the left circle pad working but when I move left it goes right.
Go into windows controller settings and calibrate the ontroller. That might help. Also no circle pad pro support, though there is n3ds buttons support

I heard if you use vJoy it does work with the circlepad pro. I don't have a new 3ds sadly enough

I have it working a bit tho

Vjoy just creates a virtual controller on windows, so it wouldnt have anything to do with that. I also know multiple people with circle pad pros who cant use them with this. Also make sure you're using 3ds controller 0.7.2

Also to fix the reverse issue you can probably set the axis in the input redirector application settings. I cant test anything since im not home.

I got 3ds controller 0.6
Where can I find the newest version?

WTF XD
What is your purpose of doing this? A "remote" controller that's less heavy? Not buying a CPPXL(?)
What are you trying to accomplish? I'm legit curious.

I have literally no idea why but I just randomly was thinking: ''Hey wouldn't it be edgy to control my 3ds with another 3ds''
From that point I just wasted my life

but now you need to control that second 3ds with a PS vita, being controlled by an xbox360 controller on a windows VM running on a mac OS VM, running on a windows PC.

cuz fuck it, why not?

Nah m8 that would cause to much delay and it would take at least 2 seconds for the signal to reach the 3ds
