Hello.
Often when I play a game it'll crash, stating "ErrDisp". The crashes happen mostly at random but, in some instances, they are permanently located at a certain "location" in-game.

To solve this I´ve tried:
  • Updating b9s/ luma
  • CTRTransfer
  • Formatting SD card
  • Using a different SD card
  • Reinstalling the games
What I´ve yet to try:
  • Restore old backup (have none since they were accidentally deleted)
  • Luma 3DS legacy build (that´s compatible with b9s 1.3?)
  • ???
Nothing that I've tried has worked out.
The 3DS was bought roughly 1.5 year ago, brand new. And the problem has been persistent for as long as I can remember. I´ve looked at every possible post on the internet, but similiar errors stay unsolved. If you might know how to solve this, then don't hesitate to reply!
Thanks in advance.

N3DS XL on fw 11.6 with b9s 1.3 and luma 9.0.

Are you using legit purchased copies of the games? Or are they pirated? Sometimes, people upload corrupted pirated copies of games and they crash at certain points or the game.

chkdsk doesnt do shit for testing for fakes/corruption and corruption can happen on legit SD's
Okay, but I´ve still tried h2w before. Can´t hurt to do use it again though.

Freeshop on 99% of the games.

LOL, OK. Freeshop usually doesn't corrupt games. Do you have a good internet connection? Maybe try to find a CIA of the game(s) online.

My connection is average-good. I guess I could try getting them elsewhere...

So the SD card can still be corrupted even after formatting normally? And also, shouldn´t/ couldn´t it be the files that are corrupted?

You might also have a corrupted NAND. This happened to me. If you have a NAND backup then try that (AFTER MAKING A BACKUP OF YOUR CURRENT NAND). OR try a CTRTRANSFER.

I just realized that doesn´t seem to matter as my attached image is actually taken from a game from the internet...

yes, the files could also be corrupted, but make sure you test your SD card, then backup the save games via checkpoint
reinstall the game, then restore the savegame

My old backups accidentally got deleted... Try CTRTransfer perhaps?

I have one from last week! That´s sufficient, right? I´ll try what Hunter suggested first!
It should be... if you have enough storage, I personally would make a new one and name it "NANDBACKUP[Todays Date Here].bin"

But don't delete the old one

Or, try to update the system. (Even though you are on the latest version)

I´ve tried updating. It said I was already on latest firmware.

H2testw didn´t detect any problem.
try the other part then, backup your savegames with checkpoint if you have any, then start fresh by formatting and reinstall the required cfw files and reinstall the games and restore saves
incase you had corruption in the files
