Hacking Confused

I ordered an acekard and am getting it latest as monday. What Do i Do To update it
I aleady know that i have to have the update files on my micro sd card stick it into my phat ds I only have one acekard so do i use DSL Update or DSi update?

use the DSi file. ignore the DSL file but keep it in case you bricked your acekard 2i (which i doubt)

oh. try your card first if it's fake. use AKAIO and play a game. if it opens the game, you can update your card for DSi 1.4x

yeh
its easier to brick on dsl/phat if u update on them
jus do it on ur dsi
all u have to do is run the file
