I just softmodded my Wii with ModMii.
All is successful. Using CFG as USB loader.

What is the latest stable build to use?
v70r78?

Just got a wiiu. I got the homebrew channel on it and want to put this great loader on it as I have used it for years on my wii. Which forwarder do I use? The Channels links or the vwii links on the homepage of this forum? Any other modifications I need to make or not make to get this loader to work? I know I did a lot of mods to get my old wii working great. I just want the loader on here without the need for an SD card. Thanks

Thanks for the info. What is the best wad manager to use for the forwarder install? The one I am using doesn't work with my wii remotes as soon as it loads up. I can't hit A to continue. I am locked out of the install process as my remotes won't work after loading the wad manager.

There are plenty of them. Multi Mod Manager, Wiimod, Wad Manager 1.7, etc. And all of them (using the latest revisions ofc) work fine for me with Wii motion + controller.
Personally, I prefer Multi Mod Manager. Because it has many functions and prooved by Modmii for Windows. :3

I have tried wad manager 1.7 & Multi Mod. Get the same issue with both. I can load them on the homebrew channel. However, my remote goes dead after it loads and I can't move around the screen. I try another remote and the 4 blue lights just flash on the bottom and it won't respond either. Not sure if I need to do the ISO58 installer. Maybe I should do that first and see what happens. If that doesn't work, any other suggestions on why my remotes won't work after loading homebrew apps?
Thanks

Have you been banned by Google or so? Every website is shouting thet you need Hermes IOS222/223 to run this game.

Are you this rude to everyone that comes on here asking for help?
And giving uncorrect/incomplete information too, you also should be fine installing D2X cios (at least v8) with base 56 on ios slot 249 and also on slot 250 with a base 57.
In fact i think you will be better off using that because all main usb loaders prefer it and it has many benefits over the old hermes cios like auto ios reload.

I'm trying to play wiiware games with v70r78 using mighty or neek2o plugins, but I only get a black screen with a scrolling text showing some errors. Anyone got a solution for this?

Finally got everything loaded but now when I run this loader I get an error. Says to load IOS 224? My config file says IOS=249. Any help would be appreciated.
Also, I hooked up my hard drive but the wiiu asks everytime I turn it on if I want to format it or not. Anyway to remove this so it doesn't keep coming up? I would hate to accidentally erase my drive.

Does anyone know how to get Kirby's Return to Dream Land working when loading the game from an SD card? Im using d2x-v10-beta52, 249 with base 56 & 250 with base 57. And I'm using CFG v70r65.

EDIT: I got some new information

Good news for me!!!!!! Kirby's Return to DreamLand is NOT compatible with loading from an SD card! How did I find out? A friend let me borrow his 2gb flash drive, CFG USB loader had me format it to WBFS, I copied my backup of Kirby's RTD to it, loaded it up, AND IT STARTED RIGHT UP!!!! and I did NOT need the gameconfig.txt file either!

Hi, I'm using cfg v70r78, I can't get the mighty plugin to work so I use the neek2o plugin to load VC/Wiiware games but whenever I exit them (home button) it returns me to the emunand menu (which is annoying because I configured it to return to cfg when I exit a game via Home button) so I can't install a ton of games because it would take forever to load the emunand each time I exit a game. Which would be the best solution? changing to a lower rev of cfg? get the mighty plugin to work? stick with the problem and live with it? any help will be appreciated.

Edit: Mighty Plugin works with v70r65, neek2o plugin still redirects to the emunand, is uninstalling bootmii as an IOS the only solution for this problem? (I hate Wiiflow btw)
