Looks like the admin_unlock feature is not working in 52-b3. Did some tests and looks like it's working up to 52-b2, but in b3 it just does nothing - never brings up the screen to enter the admin password.

I have a weird problems with loading covers from NTFS drive (only 1 partition). Some of the covers are broken.
However, with the same set of covers, if I move to SD card, all are good. Anybody has this problem and how to fix it?

Thx
Covers on NTFS are known to be buggy. When the bug is fixed, it will be announced in the change notes.

okay, really dumb question here. I used wii game manager to convert an iso to a wbfs file, but now it's just SXEE52.wbfs, can I rename it to Guitar Hero 5 [SXEE52].wbfs?
If you are using v52b3 then you can. However, you can't have it in a subdirectory if you do so.

It won't work out of the GUI, but it should still work in the menu, or if you set a button action to it.

so Guitar Hero 5 [SXEE52].wbfs would work in my /wbfs/ folder ?
Here's three more questions in return...
I thought Clipper already answered that?
Why do you need to bring the same question again?
Have you tried it?

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but after i updated to 52b3, my game listing in usb loader only shows the first 3 letters of every game. i don't use wiitdb. i use my folder names for names. here is my config file. i went back to 52b2 and all works fine again. any suggestions?

device = usb
gui = 1
gui_style = coverflow3d
cursor_jump = 21
disable_format = 1
db_ignore_titles = 1
I tried but I can't reproduce your problem.
Without titles.txt and with db_ignore_titles = 1 I get folder names for titles as expected.
Can you give more details:
- FAT or NTFS? (i tried both and work for me)
- Which filename layout do you use? ID_Title or Title [ID]?
Can you make a screenshot?
And also a screenshot of how it looks in windows explorer or in WiiXplorer
I did make a screenshot. can i send it email. couldn't figure out how to post it in the message. i'm using ntfs partion with title [id]. does it matter which config file i use. the one i showed you is from usb-loader not apps\USBLoader. i'll try it and post back.
I tried adding db_ignore_titles = 1 to config file in apps\USBLoader but it made no difference.
hey oggzee, did you get a chance to look at my problem from last night? just curious if you were able to replcate the same issue? Thanks alot.

You're right. I tried in every other menu besides the game list menu. It still works there, thanks.

Hi,

i am on FAT32 now and have found a bug:

If I downloaded WIITDB and go back to the coverview or consoleview, i got a code dump. I've tried 51-53b3 fat. After restarting the loader, all is fine. The downloaded WIITDB file is ok and it will be used.

WiiNero

I have had the same problem....

cfg v52b4 (beta4)
cfg52b4.dol
cfg52b4-fat.dol
Languages: lang_cfg52b4.zip
(or online update)

Changes:
cfg v52b4 (beta4)

* New actions for buttons: sort (switch sort type), filter (filter menu) (Clipper)
* Button actions sort, profile and theme will display a message in the console (Clipper)
* Holding any of the buttons in button_other in the GUI will work for menu_unlock (Clipper)
* Fixed: title length 3 from folder names
* Fixed: WiiTDB update crash
* Handle & etc. in wiitdb titles
* fat_install_dir = 3 will use layout: /wbfs/Title [ID].wbfs
* new option: fs_install_layout is an alias for fat_install_dir
* Minor cleanups

Can we have an option to make any game a channel/forwarder with Config USB Loader?
I know we can use another tool to do this but it'll be easier with CFG.

The cfg Loader Team is AWESOME!!!! Their dedication and time toward us is greatly appreciated!!! Even if we post noob requests etc. they are always willing to help.

I have come across what looks like a strange bug ... I am using cfg 51, WBFS partition, no titles.txt file, 4.0E; cIOS 249 v17

When I try adding these SingItStar titles as favorites through the menu I keep getting an error msg and cfg refuses to add them but when I go into the config txt file and manual edit the file to add these titles cfg accepts and shows them as favorites ... Why is it failing to add these titles as favorites through the menu ???

S02PES : SingItStar 90's
SP9P4Q : SingItStar Pop 2009
SBVG3Q : SingItStar BoyBands Vs GirlBands

Can anyone else confirm this bug / behavior ???

How many favorites do you have in that profile?
