Anyone have success AUTOBOOT this loader v50 on Wii ?
I have 4.2E + priiloader r42 - they can't start loaded forwarder
frown.gif
I try all forwarders from fitst post - just black screen.
Possible launch this trough autoboot function on Wii v4.2 ?

No you cannot currently, priiloader (based on preloader 0.30) is not compatible with the CFG USB loader. You have to use Preloader 0.29...(but with 4.2 yo cannot start HBC 1.06 then from Preloader). The choice is yours. I chose Preloade r0.29.

autoboot with 4.2 and priiloader rev 32 works just fine

Right. Works fine for me too.

sorry if someone already posted this
i put in my fat 32 formatted hdd
then i went to the channel it just put me back on the system menu
so the i went to homebrew channel all it did counted to 30 sec.
what do i do to play my games

note - this is my first time

from what i understand for fat32 you need a tool (see the 1 page, 1post in other useful downlod links ), but there also needs to be a folder that is named wbfs. the wbfs folder needs to be in the root.

is it possible to install configurable USB loader as a full channel?
if so, how do I do it?
I have it installed using the channel forwarder, but want to do it without the SD card.
There are full channel versions in the first post of the thread. They are called 'hybrids' now. However, a much better way to remove the need for the SD card is to just copy your sd:/apps/usbloader and sd:/usb-loader directories (and anything else associated with the loader) to a FAT partition on your USB drive. The forwarders work with that too.

Of course, if your drive is fully WBFS, then you will need to reformat. Perhaps it's time to convert to a FAT partition.

ok, thanks. I'll try it out.

I cannot get NSMB working on my 4.1E Wii to save my life. I have tried every guide I can find, updated the loader, updated my IOS files, tried the Cboot2 (confused and irritated at this one - with one method, it says to turn on the Wii and go to the SD channel, then insert the card and whatever is needed to boot to install something will boot - instead, the Wii freezes. With another, it says to go to to the HBC channel, press home and go to Bootmii, and then cboot2 will load. There is no "go to Bootmii" option and yes, I have Bootmii installed)... I have both an .ISO on my USB hard drive that gives no problems with other games, and my flat-mate actually bought the game so we have the actual disc here with us, also.

I just cannot get the damn thing to run, either with the .ISO or the game disc. Every guide tells me to download multiple files - the cboot2 guide even tells me to email someone to get them. Why do I need to do that? Presumably this person doesn't mind people using these files because he's sending them out? Why then can't they be put up on Rapidshare or something? And don't get me started on how many forums I've had to register for because they won't reveal either the names of and/or the actual files until you're a member. I've been tearing my hair out because of this and I am so annoyed with the situation right now. I'm a reasonably technically competent person but it seems the most illiterate barely-teenagers on the Internet knows what IOS' are, which ones to install, what programs to use with them, the multiple programs you can download them with, which to use with each game... there are so many files everywhere in the process that it makes my head spin. I used to program in Assembly, I used to be a debug/reworker, and I enjoy building pc's for people, but for the life of me I cannot figure out this thing at all.

If anyone can point me to a well-written guide that doesn't involve overly-elaborate conjuring of the arcane arts so I can get this effing game to run, I would be very appreciative.

there's a forum called tehparadox, go there, and look on the games-> Console Games -> and look for a post called somethin like Hippie Freaks Wii games or something like that, ther look for the NSMB game, theres one titled CISO, download that file, and then transfer it to your usb drive with wii backup manager, and run it from the configurable usb loader.

Right. Works fine for me too.
thx for the updates, I will try rev 32 too. Happy holidays

Hey guys, not sure if it's been mentioned yet but I get an error trying to download larger ocarina codes, I have the problem with Zelda. Sorry if it's already been talked about

Hello,

I just tried CFG USb Loader and it looks great. I've updated to cfg50c and updated the titles.txt via the net. All worked fine.
I did mount my USB NTFS1 partition but there were no games found.
I have tried root\wbfs\RWCE.iso and I tried root\wbfs\RWCE_Pinball\RWCE.iso but the loader doesn't find the game.
When I press button B on remote the loader say's no games found.

Did I miss something reading README-CFG.txt?

Thx in advance, vbp.

iirc the ids should be 6 letters not 4.
And just to be absolutely sure: you know "root" means d: or x: or whatever?

So far this looks great.
I assume i just take the 50c and rename to boot.dol?

Im going to try first on my sd card thats fat32.
So I take the fat.dol and rename to boot.dol and put a wbfs file into the root:\wbfs\ correct?

Im gettin an hdd tomorrow.
How would I set up this up to use ntfs and then how would I scrub and compress the iso to work off ntfs?
and whats the best way to scrub an iso? i tried wiiscrubber but I see the update partition and I think i can delete that.
Should I delete updates?

wbfs_file 2.4
wbfs_file_2.4_win32.zip
(included sources and win32 binary)
Changes:

* New option:
-z : make zero filled used blocks as sparse when scrubbing
(by default only unused (scrubbed) data is sparse)

* Using the option -1 (copy 1:1) and the scrub command makes it a simple copy.
Using scrub with -1 and -z makes it a generic sparse copy operation

Great loader, the best I've ever used! It's so nice and smooth, I've bought a 500GB WD Essentials solely because of this ^^

Might be a stupid question; I'm not able to use WiiWare-games on this, right?

I think its just a combination of me smoking crack.
I tried the regular one for wbfs partitions, and came on fine. so i guess my 249 is fine.
i tried switching to sd fat, and said i needed 222.
Ill just pass on it since ill get an hdd tomorrow

So I set this up for a friend - 50c FAT version of the DOL made into a channel, SDHC FAT32 card, Hermes 222 installed as 38 merged 37, firmware 4.1 from the NSMB disc. Everything seemed to be working just fine before I wrapped it up but when they opened it and set everything up the loader wouldn't load - it'd show "mload(222) [FAT]" or something like that and the blue light on the DVD drive would start flashing. Anyone have any idea what the deal is here?

Please help trying to get games to run off sdhc card but get dvd blue blinking lights when I launch. Looks like this...

[+] Booting Wii game, please wait...

IOS(222) mload [FAT]

just hangs on that message and the dvd drive is blinking blue reptedetly 3 times. No idea what the problem is. Missing IOS??? wrong settings??? please help!
