I'm always using the carusel flowmode.

But I'm missing the fact that the "highlighted" middle game that has its name show onscreen is not moved out from the "carusel" like when you look at the backside.

I'd like the "highlighted" middle game that has its name show onscreen, pop out a bit, maybe like half the way compared to when looking on the backside.

When there is time, if it even will be considered. ;P

EDIT:
The new bootup screen is SWEET!

Hello.....Can someone help me out here? I tried to lock out all the option using config.txt, but somehow it is not working.

simple = 1, 0
confirm_start = 0, 1
disable_remove = 0,1
disable_install = 0,1
disable_options = 0,1
disable_format = 0,1
These ones are your problem, as the previous reply infers, but what exactly were you wanting? You only put 1 or 0 for each option, 1 meaning on and 0 meaning off.

Setting simple to 1 is equivalent to setting confirm_start to 0 (i.e., don't confirm) and all the disable options to 1 (i.e., disable everything). It's just a space saver.

If we take your first values up there though, what you have put is equivalent to just having "confirm_start = 0".

If this still confuses you, use the Configurator to create your config.txt.

I agree, I *really* like the splash screen! Lookin' good

cfg v42 (release)

http://sharebee.com/f04df01d
(or online update)

Code:
Changes since 42 beta2:

* Fixed scrolling glitch in options screen
ÂÂ with themes that have small console size
* Modified intro screen (based on Milcoi design)
* Moved larger themes to a separate package:
ÂÂÂÂCfgThemePack1.zip (see below)

Changes since 41 release:

cfg v42b2 (beta2)

* Fixed coverflow antialiasing in PAL 576i (50Hz) mode
* Fixed occasional flashing in options screen
* Intro screen (thanks to Milcoi)

cfg v42b (beta)

* Antialiasing in CoverFlow GUI modes. (thanks to Hibern)
ÂÂ Can be tuned with option: gui_antialias = [4] {0-4}
* cios 222/223 rev4 support:
- using new dip_plugin and ehcmodule from uloader 3.0B
- external ehcmodule for rev4 has to be named: ehcmodule4.elf
- note: rev2&3 modules are still integrated and used appropriately.
* Changed url tag CC value for portugal/brasil from PO to PT
* Removed obsolete options: cover_url_*_wide, download_wide
* Show 6 letter ID in game options screen
* Better support for custom games in titles.txt - use full 6 letter IDs
ÂÂ if available, otherwise 4 letter IDs still work same as before.
ÂÂ Note: 6 letter ID in titles.txt was supported before but just 4 were used.
* Show a note in the global options screen if there are multiple config.txt
ÂÂ files used (one in base and another in apps/... dir)
* Fixed occasional crash with the combination of
ÂÂ options: video = game, video_patch = all
* Minor fixes (thanks to wiimm)

cfg v42a (alpha)

* Ability to force progressive mode: (from NeoGamma)
- Split 'patch' video mode to a separate option:
ÂÂ video_patch = [0], 1, all
- 'video_patch = all' will force all modes to the selected video mode.
ÂÂ This will also force progressive / interlaced mode, depending on what
ÂÂ is configured in wii settings. This can be used for example to force
ÂÂ progressive mode if the game will otherwise use interlaced mode (MPT)
- The equivalent of the old video = patch is now:
ÂÂÂÂ video = system
ÂÂÂÂ video_patch = 1
ÂÂ This will patch NTSC -> PAL modes if console is PAL
ÂÂ and PAL -> NTSC modes if console is NTSC
ÂÂ This will not change interlaced / progressive mode

* Allow wiird to work if ocarina is enabled and no codes are found.
ÂÂ (seems to still not work)

CfgThemePack1.zip:
http://sharebee.com/11527860
(nature3d, wolf3d, BlackCat)

And the 222 special version:
http://sharebee.com/f562eecd
(SDUSB-Loader_cfg42-222.dol)

Updated README-CFG.txt:
http://docs.google.com/View?id=dhjktg6j_1gphhtrgn

Nice job! I'll get the hybrid channel for this release together when the usb forwarding is finished and submitted to me. And thanks for the 222 special version as well

Updated README-CFG.txt:
http://docs.google.com/View?id=dhjktg6j_1gphhtrgn

Can I suggest adding explanation of the region info (forth letter in Title denotes Game Region) to the "Title Rename" section of the README-CFG.txt file? ... or adding this information somewhere else in the README-CFG.txt file? ... I don't think this info/feature is actually documented anywhere ???

ie

RSPE = Wii Sports = USA/NTSC REGION
RSPP = Wii Sports = PAL REGION
RSPJ = Wii Sports = JAPAN/NTSC REGION

With help in another thread I have CUL working - now I've hit another snag and with several hundred pages in this thread I'm not sure what I'm asking hasn't already been asked - so please don't flame me too hard
wink.gif

I have two games on the drive (one I put on a DVD as well so I know I can play it) and CUL loads, the covers are there, but as soon as I press A to load either game it just hangs. I get the message that its loading the game, but then nothing. What am I missing now? [apart from several IQ points obviously]

Thanks

Hello oggzee. I was just wondering if you would add compatibility for language files in the USB Loader CFG (you know, by entering the dir of the file on the config.txt [this needs the creation of a new option]) (i'm a native talker of spanish). If you do, I can help to translate them to spanish, ^^'. BTW, keep up the good work!

Loading splash screen shows for about a minute (nice image BTW) and then it says loading usb and each number that used to show onscreen taking a second takes about 20 seconds to tick over.

I have typed this post and it is still showing 6

Posts merged

it is now up to 14

This was resolved by re installing CIOS r13b

r14 was the problem.

i will probably replace it with this one, with smaller text and logo:

After seeing the v42 release in action, even though the loadscreen on shows for a few seconds, IMHO it should have been a little bit larger.

Maybe like this (fill up the entire rectangle).

I'm running CFG USBLoader through my HBC on System Menu 3.4U. I flashed IOS249 (which works brilliantly with every game I've tried)... I'd like to update to 4.1U though (as I like to keep up), will I have reflash IOS249 or reinstall the HBC with that new Bannerbomb thing? Or will the update not interrupt my setup?

The update won't get rid of IOS249 or the HBC. All it will do is patch the trucha bug in the rest of your IOS's, but that can be patched back in quite easily since cIOS remains intact.

@oggzee:

I use the following Hermes-IOS configuration on my Wii:
IOS 222 V3 as 36 (V3 because V4 has online problems like 249 rev 14)
IOS 223 V4 as 38 merged 37

Since 42b2, when i start a game using IOS 222 or 223 i get a green banner before the game starts:

My Wii is in 480i PAL Mode.
