If instead of downloading a cover off the web, it uses the same picture that the disc channel would use, it would display even on Wiis without internet access, as well as provide an easy visible distinction from the games that are stored on the HDD (unless you're displaying as discs instead of covers).
If it's not feasible, or if it simply doesn't fit into your vision of what CFG Loader is, sorry to have wasted your time with this post.

The main reason I ask for this is for Metroid Prime: Trilogy, which frankly works better from disc than from USB loaders, and for those few IOS reloading games that aren't working right in any reloader.Caliban said:Covarr said:How feasible would it be to add an entry for playing games from the disc? I suppose it would be neat if the current game inserted into your Wii (either legit or backup) also popped up onto the GUI, but honestly I've either already ripped that game to the HDD so I don't have to wear down the laser or switch discs or if I was planning on playing it, the 5 second hassle to return to the menu screen isn't that bad. Just my 2 cents though!!![]()

A short version of the change log is listed when you select a version in the update menu. The change log is also updated in the first post of the thread whenever a new full version is released.Vanth88 said:Hi I was wondering when you download a update could you also include the change log as well? I'm requesting this because I normally don't visit these forums and when I do I don't like searching through the forums for the change log.

Heh, don't take my words as policy. I've got nothing to do with the releases, I'm just a big fan that like to help answer questions. I'm actually surprised oggzee hasn't updated the op with 42a and b. He usually does it with about every other alpha/beta release, so its pretty strange not to have it after three of them.Vanth88 said:I know what you mean but sometimes when you release a beta(I always download the latest beta btw) you include somethings that the short change log doesn't mention. For example when you released the anti aliasing beta update(it was a beta I think? 42b or a?) I didn't know how to turn it off until I came here and I searched a few pages back.
I do come here when you guys release a new stable version but like I said I always download the betas. It's understandable though if you cannot or do not want to include a small txt file in each download. It's just a small request.
I don't intend to complicate the update procedure further.Vanth88 said:Dr. Clipper said:A short version of the change log is listed when you select a version in the update menu. However I agree that it would be useful to quickly see the readme, I would prefer to have an external page, and link to that in the first post, but I haven't found the right site for that yet. Here is the latest readme on pastebin.com:
http://pastebin.com/f34611111
however it doesn't allow me to edit the content on the same link, which makes it unsuitable for the task.
Does anyone know a better one? It has to show the content, not make it downloadable and I want to edit the content on the same link, and the formatting has to be with a fixed width font.

(or online update)
* Fixed coverflow antialiasing in PAL 576i (50Hz) mode
* Fixed occasional flashing in options screen
* Intro screen (thanks to Milcoi)

I think you might like google docs. I just created a new text file, selected fixed width and I even pasted your readme. This link will work even after you've changed the file itself. It's also friendly to the eyes.
*EDIT* Just a quick edit you can also view the file like any other txt file(including the fixed width) here
