"Options_B" Layout doesn't work with the new (but very nice) feature.

Could you add language files support to usbloader cfg ?

NEW: cfg v30: (release)

http://sharebee.com/8b871597

Changes: (v30 release)
- Fixed crash when switching theme after gui mode
- Other minor GUI fixes

Changes: (v30b beta)
Code:
 - GUI Mode
ÂÂ By default console mode is started.
ÂÂ To switch to GUI mode, press B in main screen.
ÂÂ While in GUI mode, the following buttons are used:
ÂÂÂÂ button A : start selected game
ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ button B : return to console mode
ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ button LEFT/RIGHT : previous/next page
ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ button UP/DOWN : switch number of rows (1-3)
ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ button 1, +, - : options, install, remove
ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ button HOME : exit
ÂÂ The background image in GUI mode can be changed with the file:
ÂÂÂÂ sd:/usb-loader/themes/Theme_Name/bg_gui.pngÂÂor
ÂÂÂÂ sd:/usb-loader/bg_gui.png
- option: gui = [1], 0, start
ÂÂ Enable or disable GUI mode.
ÂÂ Using gui = start will start directly in GUI mode when loader is started.
- Start music only after usb hdd device is opened, to avoid stuttering
ÂÂ while initializing the usb device.
- Other minor fixes
- fixed crash when using some forwarders

actually I'm impressed , this the only loader that recognize my HDD every single time and didn't fail me at all not even one time
wink.gif
, though it's not saving the theme setting for me somehow which I'm pretty sure it's a matter of config.txt adjustment and I'll look in to it in a bet , other wise I'll say Go OggZee Go good job buddy , and I do recommend this loader as far as setup and less confusion for first time USB Loader users cause it comes with all the files and directories needed

good luck buddy

Hey! Great work with it!!

I just have one question/request.

I want to use WiiRD (Wii Remote Debugger) with the Usb Loader. It's an application for the Usb Gecko. The option to use it is in the Gecko OS.

This is my question: Is there already a option that let's you use it?

If yes, tell me which one.
If not, could you or someone add that function? Please, I would REALLY appreciate it too much, my wii lens doesn't longer read the discs, so this is the only way to play my games
sad.gif
.This thing is so sad cuz my Usb Gecko arrived the same day my Wii Lens stopped working. So i couldn't even use it
frown.gif

So i was looking for a version of USB Loader that has WiiRD support but I think there aren't.
I looked at this one, and I think this is the best one, and that function would complete your USB Loader.

Please, help me i would love it!!!

Thanks.

There is no such option. Sounds like a nice feature, might try to do it someday, although I don't own a gecko, but I guess it could be made to work by looking into geckos. I won't promise anything though

found a little bug buddy , after loading the USB and the list of games shows , press B for GUI then press B again to go to default mode now press 1 for option and it's crash and required hard reset
wink.gif

wink.gif
good luck buddy , oh by the way a couple people requested a wad channel so if you have one or one been made tell me please
wink.gif

Oh, I haven't experienced such a crash, I will check when I get home. Are you using the latest v30 (release) version?
Does it crash if you press 1 in GUI mode as well? It works fine for me.

I don't have a wad channel, and I haven't played with channel creation yet, so I would appreciate it if someone makes one. What would be a proper ID? UCFG or USBC? I like the graphics style of the HDD forwarder (linked on first page of this thread - the one everyone seems to be using) - nice, simple and bright with just a slight ding sound when starting and no music. So that could be a base, adding maybe "CFG" or "Configurable" text somewhere on the image.

Very, very good work oggzee. Later, i'll take a look on it. Can you send me the source please?
If you need GeckoOS Source for trying to implement WiiRD: < http://sharebee.com/d829a0bb >

Yes, I will send it when I get home.
Thanks for the GeckoOS link, not sure though when I'll get time to work on that.
I have some other stuff in my mind first.

Can you make it so you can use different covers for console and GUI mode? like have console mode use the standard covers and GUI mode use the 3D covers?

That could be made, but I'm working on other stuff at the moment.

I love the new gui mode. Only two minor tweaks that I would love to see in a future release. The first one is rasising the text up some from its present location. Most of the text gets cut-off by my full screen TV. The second feature is some sort of clickable Wiimote button to move left and right throughout the pages in the GUI (without having to use the D-pad).

Thanks so much for all your great work and you are def. my favorite wii usb loader.

ok. will this be possible in future releases? and the strange thing is that i never had any problems with Galaxy, played it a couple of times with nog problems..till this weekend :-(
got a Seagate Freeagent Go 320 with the power settings/sleep disabled... and it only happends with Galaxy. All other games (like wiifit, kart, zelda etc) work fine

Do you intend to use Hermes's update to add USB peripheral support?

probably, if waninkoko doesn't do an update to his cios release then yes.

Why not support both it doesn't seem to me that Waninkoko will release cIOSrev11 anytime soon

Because my time is limited as well
wink.gif

But hey, I've just made it work with kwiirk's ios 222, will be in next release, maybe it will work with hermes 222 too... would anyone that already has hermes ios 222 installed want to test it?

I got a particularly nasty codedump trying to use the new GUI; half of the output is covered by garbage data. Not only does half of my game list get scrambled when I exit it, but I can't read any of what looks like text on the bottom of the screen. It flows out of the overscan on my screen.

This is my config.txt if it helps:
Code:
background = background_l.png
buttons=options_B
layout = large
covers = 0
simple = 0
video = system
ocarina = 0
home = reboot
confirm_start = 0
device = usb
console_coords = 41,38,558,404
console_transparent = 1
