Can you give us a tutorial on how to make these amiiibo cards at least a step by step guide?
I made a block of 9 of the back images slightly enlarged (~1.5mm, you could certainly go larger...) and printed those on a piece of paper

Then I did the same for the front except on a full sheet of sticky paper

I then cut out the blocks (to better help align them since printers don't always print dead center on paper...)

I took some blank NFC wet inlays, sandwiched them in between the front and back pieces

I then laminated the entire block, you don't need to do this if you don't want it laminated...

then I used a paper cutter and cut as closely to the edges on the front images as possible

By allowing for a little bleed on the backing you won't end up with white on the edges if they weren't perfectly lined up... (at least for the backs that don't just have white edges...)

Here's an example PDF of the template I was describing

Here's a post of mine from earlier in this thread with another description and a picture of how they turned out

You don't have to laminate them but if you don't I would very much suggest you use a heavy card stock for one of the halves

I used Adobe Illustrator CC to make the template but you could use anything that allows precise positioning (Gimp, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc...)

Depending on your printer you may not be able to print the PDF completely without enabling a border-less printing setting (which varies from printer to printer)

I'm totally gonna do this. Thank you!

Could you do the vertical Guardian with a german Text as well?
It's called Wächter.
And the other two as well?
They're Bogenschütze for the archer and Reiter for the rider in german. :)

And by any chance: The background with a round Amiibo field instead of the square one? Or juts remove it and I put my round one on top for my cards. :)

Just thought I'd post this here...

I made a web app to help you print out the front and back images in blocks of anywhere from 1 to 9 cards per page

https://dantheman827.github.io/nfc-card-helper/

It works best in Google Chrome but should work in any recent web browser... you may need to adjust your print settings to make it print at the correct scale and margins though...

Just print out either the front or back on label paper and the opposite side on regular paper

Then you cut out the block of cards and stick them together with the NFC tag in the middle

You can then laminate that or leave it as is.

Cut out the individual cards using the front image as your guide and you shouldn't have any white on the edges of the card backs since I ever so slightly enlarge the back images. (2mm on the height and even less for the width... but there's an option if you don't want that...)

It´s just amazing how good they are!
Thanks for all the hard work!
The one thing I could not find until now is a nice background to match the skylanders set. Anyone have one?
Thanks in advance!

I'll post some pictures later when I finish mine. Still need to fine tune the process a bit. Wondering if I should use thicker paper for the back. Wondering when to put them together (write the chip first or not?). Wondering how I'm going to cut them neatly (didn't go so well the first time) and how to fit them together properly. Wondering if I should leave the black borders or nah. Hehe. Still a lot to do. I'm a perfectionist after all.

If you're using my template you cut out the two pages with the black included, stick them together while lining up the edges (they should be the same size), laminate (or not), and cut out the individual cards using the front image as your guide. (I left the black in between to make it easier to see the card edges)

I put the blank chips inside and wrote them after the cards were assembled... no chance of putting the wrong tag in the wrong card that way...

I would definitely suggest that you use a paper cutter rather than doing it by hand... much easier to make a straight cut

This is the one I used... you certainly don't have to use one that expensive though... I borrowed the paper cutter from work for mine.

I know it has been a while @CompC but I was wondering if you could post the PSD for the Splatoon series? I am wanting to make cards for the Squid Sisters :D
I know others have done cards but I want them to match your other ones.

I'm surprised no one on site is selling these pre-made. I'd sell my entire Amiibo collection if I could find someone to make a nice entire up to date set. I'm 45 and don't even own a printer cuz I never need to print anything. :P If no one here want's to do it... does anyone know of a company that will print out all of the fronts & backs on some nice cards that can be stuck together with the chip inside?

There's no pre-made cards available for sale because the artwork is copyrighted by Nintendo

Selling blank cards pre-programmed would also be a no-go for the same reason...

You could try this though...

https://dantheman827.github.io/nfc-card-helper/

give it the template images and when it comes to printing it just select save as PDF...

In the case of letter size paper you'd probably want to choose 8 per page in this case since the print shop may not be able to do borderless printing...

Then take the PDF files to a local Office Depot, Officemax, Staples, etc... any place that can print out PDF files on paper you provide

Then just give them the full sheet labels for the front or back pages

Some assembly would still be required though...
