No, it doesn't look like it ^ Once the gender is set, I think it's stuck that way forever

I have a n3ds xl and whenever I load the save to my Omega Ruby through savedatafiler and launch my game, it says the game is corrupted. I have a Cia version of omega ruby, is that the issue?

No, you need to delete the "secure value" using SDF (in the rightmost tab I believe). The Pokemon games have an anti save hacking feature.

can i change the name and gender? (with a editor or something)?

Use PKHeX. You can change the name, but the gender seems to be set in your save and can't be edited, unless I missed something.

Try deleting your save game, start a new one, and export that save out once you're able to save in game. Replace your brand new save with the one you want, delete the secure value, then import it, and it should work. If it doesn't work, it's possible that the save you're wanting to use is just corrupt for some reason

Sigh it doesn't work. I did exactly as I was told and its still corrupt. I'm using ftbrony to transport the main file between my 3ds and computer, SaveDataFiler to import save and I'm using an Omega Ruby Cia. I'm on a n3ds, am I doing something wrong?

I was able to move a save file from a n3DS to an o3DS (for using QR hacks), then move it back to the n3DS with no issues. Wonder if the FTP transfer is doing something. Might try using the stock SD manager or open up your console and access the SD card directly.
