First autoboot DLDI moonshl2direct_boot.nds and then rename it to TTMENU.DAT then it SHOULD work

Autoboot DLDi i dont get that please refer to a step in the tutorial for dstt...
What i need to do exactly?

And btw which DLDi patcher do i need for dstt (direct link)

Does it work with m3Lite? It's outdated i know, what category does it fall under? the R4 clone metod doesnt seem to work for it.

It's not possible. What soft reset does or is supposed to do is bring you back to the official firmware.

Actually, if you're doing the moonshell 2 + Ysmenu combo thingy, all you have to do is crate a copy the "moonshell2_Directboot.nds" file and put it on the root of you're card and rename it to TTMENU.DAT

Yeah, that doesn't work for me. I did what you said. Held B to get into YSMenu, ticked "reset," and tried it, but it doesn't work.

Maybe off-topic but does anyone here has a working ttio.nds that when you
"Exit to Firmware" it jumps to either YSMenu or original DSTT firmware?

You could try using "Unneon's Alternate YSloader". That is what I do at least. I use it for my exit to firmware and then just use linoul's as the regular loader (and then I have the R4 firmware that I keep in my history so its easy to access). Its almost like a triple loader but with only ysmenu and the r4 menu (and of course MS2 as the firmware).

Question... I'm new to all this. I have an R4 and I seem to have gotten this to work, but I don't have that fancy menu with the 3 large icons on the bottom. Is it supposed to be this way?

I'm using an R4 lol. It should work pretty much the same since the only real R4 thing is just the extra R4 firmware.nds (I made it somehow with the R4dec stuff.). As long as you can already use YSmenu, I don't think there should be a problem (but what do I know about other cards other than nothing).

@Peppero01: If you have done everything as the guide says in the first post under the R4 heading, then you made Moonshell 2 your firmware and instead of booting to the R4 menu, it boots straight to Moonshell 2. If that is what you did, then yes its supposed to be that way.

i know why dont poeple who have it working on there flash card perfectly, zip it all up and post a link to it so we who cant get it to work can

We can't just zip it up and send it out. There is this nice little thing in the readme for YSMenu that says:

* Warning
Use at YOUR OWN RISK!
Do not use for commercial.
Do not upload this software to other site.
Introduce the URL (of top page) if you want.

And somewhere I heard that if we do give it out, Yasu will quit working on it.

Here is a fix for Mario and Luigi Bowsers Inside Story (U) on the R4 and etc. Simply extract to the root of your micro sd card. Insert it into whatever flash cart you are using. Place it in the nds system. Go to the fix folder “it is named Mario and Luigi …. Fix” and run the file titled RUN ME FIRST.NDS, the same as if you were loading any other .nds file. Your menu etc will change and etc. Don’t worry it has made no changes to the card. Then go to Mario and Luigi Bowsers Inside Story (U) and play as you normally would. Thanks and I hope this helped.
This loads a Fix that I have made and been personally using on my original R4DS, which allows you to play the game without doing anything but extracting it to the root folder.
