File Structure? Sorry but I'm having a newb moment >.> but what is that? For my SD card I have a Sandisk 2 GB and for my SDHC is a PNY 4 GB.....I fixed the problem with my SD from where I dont get the "No English Ver. Please Shut off the NDS" anymore but yet I still get the white screen when I boot up Moonshell2....As for my SDHC it still gets the "No English Ver. Please Shut off the NDS"....When I wake up I'll retry each step again...TY guys for being patient with me.

I got it working now lol

Wow glad you got it working again xD And for maybe later on in your life or maybe never but its always good to know, File Structure is the way your SD card is set up, like what folders are where, what files are in where, some people can do diagrams with it actually but I can't xD don't remember how.

@Offtopic: Does anyone remeber how to make Moonshell2 play music even though you closed your DS? Even since I upgraded to Moonshell2 v2.05 Stable I can't get it to work

Moonshell2 still plays music when the DS is closed its just the audio is only from the audio jack.

just have your TTMenu folder look something like this
ttmenufolder.jpg

and just make sure to have the ttmenu.sys in the root and the ysloader in the extlink of the moonshl2 folder and it should work with moonshell2 (at least that is what works for me...oh and have correct references in the config ini and a dldi patched ysmenu.nds).

I have an R4 (original) and I can't seem to get it to work can someone upload their files that work?

Not allowed. Yasu(ysmenu maker) doesn't allow his files pre-uploaded or made somewhere else.
Why doesn't he like that, anyway? Doesn't seem to make any sense to me.

What? You mean that when its closed I can only listen through an earphone? Cuz before I could close the DS and it would still play music through the speakers

Probably no one would go to his website anymore for current updates (not like it's being updated that frequently). He's done a great deal for us, let's just respect his wishes shall we?

Ok this is gonna sound kinda stupid but how do I pull up the cheats? lol I put the newest USRCHEAT.DAT into the TTMenu folder but it still won't let me pull it up yet....I'll keep trying tho \m/ (>.

Make sure you put the USERCHEAT.DAT into the ROOT of your TTMENU folder, and when you run the game hold B before the "bar" loads and it should bring you to YSMenu and you select your cheats there

Yeah, Moonlight changed it to only the audio jack when its closed for some reason (the m3sakura also is like this I believe). You could probably just stick to a slightly older version (2.04 I think still has it, but I'm not sure) since there doesn't seem to be any major changes between 2.03-2.05.

I used my 4 Gig Micro SDHC card on my M3i Zero and it works great even tho it wouldn't for the Moonshell2/TTMenu/YSMenu hack....I'm fixing to put my 4 Gig micro SD card on my SuperCard Onei DSi to see if it works on it which most likely it will.And it works Perfectly!!! I really appreciate you Keeley on this great guide that yourself,JMR/helpme and mestapho have created and tyvm for having me "test" it!!!

@jurassicplayer

Oh I see, why he change it I wonder, I would put my DSi in my pocket and listen while doing chores xD

@hoist20032002

Glad you got it working again, maybe this time it will work for sure!

I'll update my guide on how to get cheats to work

Because R4 III Upgrade is an AceKard R.P.G. Clone and therefore does not use _DS_MENU.DAT. You could try following the steps for Acecard, not sure but it might work. :\

BTW: I was wondering if there was a way to edit the "exit back to firmware" option to shut down the NDS instead? Is there a .nds program anywhere out there anywhere that does that?

LOL, I know that goofball. I'd just rather not see a useless option on that menu. I like to keep things tight thats all. I guess I'd be fine with removing that option too I guess. I'll see if I can find the way to do that myself, but if anybody happens to know, that would be cool to.

Since the file(s) used for 'reset to firmware' are usually nothing more than renamed 'nds' files - why not place an often used program in the /resetmse/ folder instead, e.g a screensaver (does such a thing exist for the DS ??) - that way the 'reset to firmware' could become a 'start screensaver' function instead

As for removing the function - I think it's hard-coded into Moonshell & so there's no option to remove it. (same goes for the error screens you see when Moonshell starts up - I'd like an option to remove those). Perhaps someone can contact the developer & ask for it to be added - maybe if moonshell can't find a 'nds' file in /resetmse/ then don't show the option ?
