Hacking ComicBookDS 2.1 not working

When I open ComicbookDS, I only get black screens... I DLDI patched the file.
Any ideas ?

download the comicbook extension and use that to put ComicbookDS onto ur R4. i did it that way and it works perfectly

the one i used was one somebody passed to me from an r4 as there was never a release for the m3dssimply so it's an r4 coded patch

FYI, you can use the R4 version on the M3 Simply too.

You'll have to manually patch it if you download it from the official site. I personally used TrollyDave's R4 Commander, and installed it that way. It works perfectly.

do you have an actual .cmds file for it to read? it might just be black casue there's nothing to find.

I have an M3 Lite and a 1 GB Kingston micro SD card (Japan version).

There are at least two homebrew apps that don't work with my setup, even after DLDI. One of them is DSLearnJ, and the other one is Comic Book DS. I've tried all sorts of ways to get it to work, like pressing Start to launch and opening from Moonshell or DSOrganize, but the result is the same. No dice.

I tried these two on my cousin's M3 Simply and they work flawlessly.

So now, I'm seriously considering picking up an R4 DS... and just for DSLearnJ. (being able to use the Opera browser seems like a nice bonus, too...)

Comicbook DS should work fine with a M3Lite...
