Still a pointless topic since 99 % of the people on the site don't even code and who cares about coding style, it's still all the same.

Also, you're missing "Python" style, functional programming style like in Haskell and many more since apparently you're not into programming too much.

THe point of this is just curiosity to see what do people want when they refer to a good language syntax. Please, share this in other networks!
 
VB syntax is far more readable IMO. You can clearly tell where a function, class, and namespace end just by looking at the end. You don't get that with C style syntax.
 
I don't really get the point of the square brackts system, and I think it just adds confusion. and both systems require reserving two new characters (the [] and the : or #), meaning those characters cannot be used for anything else in the code.
