Homebrew CN still needed?

We now have the browser exploit and a OoT exploit. Do we still need CN for homebrew and stuff and if yes why??

Depends. If you're using a Gateway, then you can just launch all your homebrew through that if it has a .CIA or .3DS build. Otherwise, if you want to run 3DSX homebrew, you still need Cubic Ninja (Or a rom on a flashcard) - It's the only way currently.

yup, CN is mostly needed for n3ds on top of the homebrew stuff

And what about the rxtools can I use them with cn via gateway?
