I've been watching some of it but the game times are all over the place for me to invest in every game. 2am with work a few hours later?
I have enjoyed what I've seen so far (Chelsea v Flamengo was good!) It's certainly thrown up some interesting fixtures and I do believe the latter stages is where interest will raise or peak but having it in the US of A was a bad idea for attendances anyway.
And it's only Sunday Morning in the proper football world.... Give us a chance

I bet you would watch it more if they had allowed Scotland's #1 team to contestI've been watching some of it but the game times are all over the place for me to invest in every game. 2am with work a few hours later?

... Or the Red Devils
Obviously, however.... It would be Rangers who get the invite as we shit in Europe and Utd are a different shit altogetherI bet you would watch it more if they had allowed Scotland's #1 team to contest

Work gets in the way I'm afraid for most of them (also if it on council tv or not as O can't be arsed streaming it sometimes) but again, I've enjoyed what I have seen and gonna watch Juventus later tho.
so it's official, I don't know a single person in any of my social circles who actively follows the CWC.
I am actually surprised - I knew it wouldn't be madness but that absolutely no one gives a shit? wow

It's thrown up some interesting match ups however I think the footballing world sees it as a friendly tournament rather than a trophy and certainly not a major trophy.
It's come at the wrong time also, most of the players are shattered and need time off but have to go the USA in mad heat to play this so I don't think the players are treating it as an actual competition! I know it's the same time as an actual world cup but there is invested interest over many years for that.
It's a shame but maybe it needs time to grow a bit and have a better location!

Chelsea are the world champions... God help us all from the BS from Chelsea fans.
Hey Chelsea fans have been dreaming about this since 2023!
But then they were the European champions for only a year. Now they are the world champions for 4 years. no matter what happens in the next 4 years.
But. I mean, John Terry has aged poorly.
