So as I was backing away from my TV,I accidentally sat on my classic controller.
the controller's analog sticks no longer work on homebrew apps, and in Genesis Plus GX my analog goes insane.

Help ME!

The analog don't work on homebrew in general, I have a golden Classic Controller Pro 007 edition and it doesn't work either.

Same here, 007 CCP and still have issues with the Left Analog.
It only happens with QRevPak and Wii64, the app has a little "down" detection by default.

Then its the homebrew channel not the controller itself.

It's not the Homebrew channel, it's the app itself.
I have a Golden CCP (007 Edition) and it works fine for some emus like VBAGX, SNES9XGX and others like RetroArch.
The problem comes with some apps like EDuke32, QRevPAK and Wii64, the programming of the CCP is wrong for certain models.

This is due to a calibration issue with the controller.

That's how mine WAS until it stopped working on all homebrew.
Maybe it's an internal problem with the controller.
You might have to open it up and see if there is something wrong with the analog stick.

Analog too fast on VBAGX and SNES9XGX?

My apps used to work with it but one day it stopped, maybe I need to find a calibrator if one exists, otherwise my controller stopped working for eternity.

No,it doesn't work period. If I push in a direction,it either doesn't work or my character moves one magic
Pixel to that direction.

You know, testing with homebrew doesn't much either because it can be either a bug in that homebrew version or the controller, I would test it with a Wii game.

Nope, only for those I mentioned.
VBAGX and SNES9XGX seem to be working fine for now (at least the character doesn't seem to go down like in those ones).
Just to be sure, try to play an FPS game (like Doom on both emus) and let me know if the character is being held back.

Then if that is it, it's the controller and not Homebrew apps.

@K3Nv2 Snow Day is pretty fun. My only bitch would be the camera controls, when you move around, say down, you have to move the right stick left or right to get camera to turn and get your view, other than that I like it so far.

From what people say pvp isn't even worth it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I just been playing offline, and they give you a few bots here n there on your team to help battle. I don't think it's as funny as the other games tho, more battle oriented than humor, which kinda sucks, but I'm still early in it
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, doesnt the game have a campaign mode?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, and co-op, but you can also start a pvp session and battle just with friends. You get special skill cards (powers) the more you play. And higher value cards, but you can only enable so many cards at a time.

If you can find enough for it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Toilet paper is considered the money, you collect and buy stuff with TP, kinda funny. Graphics are def better than the other games tho, I think they used Unity 5 engine.

I bet most people at the time still watched it in black and white
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Many of them did before colour television was common.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Likely because black and white TV was in-expensive.

  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
It certainly wasn't inexpensive it cost the same as a new car back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
How much did a 1965 color TV cost?

For example, a 21-inch (diagonal) GE color television in 1965 had an advertised price of $499, which is equal to $4,724 in today's dollars, according to the federal government's inflation calculator.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@K3Nv2, take into consideration how economy was back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah that's why they listed inflation rates

    Sorry didnt read that part
