Considering exploits for all fw's have already been released, it's obvious that you only want piracy. I wouldn't count on smealum making that possible for anyone. And you obviously haven't been here long enough to know that Steveice10 is a reputable programmer.
i want it so the emulators run faster custom cias and not having to have the card in for romhacks

You also forgot to mention "convenient homebrew methods AND latest firmware for eShop", thanks to emuNAND (updated to latest) since it is more than probable that the next update blocks menuhax and browserhax (but they'll remain on your sysNAND)...
But whatever, people like to oversimplify and think that everyone is a pirate when most people are pirates.

any way the exploit we have now already runs emulators which is piracy
We've had this arguement since smealum gave us his stance on piracy. Ultimately he has some rationality for emulators and won't change his mind. I personally don't have a problem with piracy. I pirate shit all the time. I'm just telling you that placing you faith in smealum, however popular his work is, is useless. I'd just wait to see what comes of these current projects.

In a manner of speaking yes but it may not be the same, if the game is no longer being sold via any avenue then the developer isn't losing any money via the game being distributed.

That's why we have the Virtual Console services which basically gets rid of that excuse for all but a handful of games not accessable on it, and even then they hold the copyright to that game or franchise to do as they see fit for some considerable amount of time, meaning you could be harming "potential" future sales of the game.

Not that I'm against emulation myself though. And yeah, eShop access without needing to update is a major priority for having kernel.

Honestly when it come to piracy or whatnot, people's moral obligations are them and to themselves. I really dislike the debate of anti-pro piracy because in the end; what are you going to do about it? To each to their own. Each has pros and cons too so you can't shut one out without sacrificing said pros.

That's still piracy. Someone holds right to it and didn't give you permission to use it.

Proper answer for anyone here is BACKUP COPIES of your own games. They are perfectly legal in most nations and anyone who tries to build library with his favorite games will understand quickly that playing backup copy instead of out of print original is much safer for your hobby.
