anyone else have this issue?

didn't know there where new ground up releases out, so downloaded the latest.

played paper mario oragami king, and the motion controls don't work right? I was in the ice temple, and tried to break a stalagmite, but the arms didn't even go up all the way to the top. they stopped about 1/3 down.

any ideas?

Disable motion controls in the in game settings.
