I just installed the CIOSCORP, Ok...
When I try to run any game by disc channel, the console asks for system update...

should I proceed?
Thanks!

EDIT:

Thank you guys ^^

Im pretty sure this hasnt been answered, and yes I searched, but it is possible to fix Error 001 on the discs that show for me?

I have just testes a perfect 1:1 image of Wii Music PAL, it shows the banner and all, but upon loading shows me the Error 001 screen. It works fine in Gamma.

Same with Mario Kart Wii PAL, same thing.

Im on a PAL Wii, Riskiimod installed (only parts of it, as I had most already)

I have starfall, then installed preloader, then Riskii

Is a previous hack stuffing me up?

Ah, bummer. Well IIRC it's an anti piracy check built into most new games (after Super Mario Galaxy) that seems to know when its not an original disc. Even on modchips, until they created a fix on the chips firmwares.

I havent heard anything about this error on CIOSCORP, so im not sure. Its patchable, but need to setup trucha signer and use another program.

Eh Ill find out some more tomorrow, should be getting off to bed now. Thanks anyway

Starfall main hacks have already been added to ARC.
So when you install ARC you will have the benefit of Starfall too.

This is the first time i've heard of anyone getting an 001 error without a modchip. which is really strange, especially as this mod doesn't get 002 errors.... Did you use the any region changer that came with the pack? If not then you most definatly need to do that as it is what applies all the hacks you need for this to work properly. Beyond that i have no idea.

I've just got the package from the mail account and the .dol linked in the first post. Two quick Qs:

1. What's the difference between that .dol and the one in the Apps folder? They look the same, but dunno if there's something different and relevant between them.

2. Once I've extracted the installer, should I put both folders (apps and cioscorps) in the root of my SD card, run the HBC and that's it? Sounds simple enough. Too simple, though...

yep copy the files from the riskiwii install package to SD preserving the paths. You MUST use the Anyregion changer in clarky's package as it is the critical step for true region free. CIOSCORP is what makes it run from disc channel.

The download link is te same file as in the email package, to answer your question.

And it is "too easy"

, just put the email package extracted on SD and run it from HBC.

Once you install cioscorp your original IOS are gone from your wii.
The easiest way to undo is to simply upgrade to 3.3 or 3.4. It will wipe out the CIOS install and put you back to original IOS. And yes if you search the web the original's are out there.
- Is that save? If I will update through Wii Settings, all of my system files are restored? Without brick chance?
- And: Does it matter what I've installed on my Wii (for example... any WAD, cIOS, Downgrade-WADs so on...)? I'm running on a 3.4e -> 3.2e downgraded Wii.

If both are "save" (you know what I mean...) than I'll give it a try.
