I'm baffled by why the deinstall_syspatch set of IOS files doesn't match the CIOSCORP files. Are the deinstall files for CIOSCORP correct and can be safely used for uninstallation of CIOSCORP?

In the deinstall_syspatch list, it is missing corresponding IOS9 and IOS35 files, but instead it has a extra IOS16 which doesn't exist in CIOSCORP.

BTW can anyone else help to confirm the above files MD5 matches with yours? I want to ensure the files not corrupted or malicious, thank you.

I can't answer your question exactly (whether the MD5s are correct) but v2576 of IOS30 and IOS31 are from the 3.3 system update, meaning they have the trucha bug fixed. It's not much of an issue but I'm surprised whoever made the deinstall_syspatch pack included them instead of using v1040.

tueidj thank you for pointing that out, I am now doubtful this deinstall_syspatch package is reliable for uninstalling CIOSCORP.

I still hope people will md5 their files and compare notes here, this is the best way to confirm the files from different sources are actually correct and not corrupted.

Most likely these wads came from a pack on the net, or were pulled off of games. The easiest way to go back to (as close as possible) factory ios is to simply update to 3.3 or 3.4. Yes you will have to re-enable the bugs afterwards but it will get rid of every cios you have, along with all the alteration riskiwii made to your system. I ran the de-install it works fine. IOS 16 is included to make it easier to restore the trucha bug.
