I'm trying to install cIOS15 on a new Wii it was 3.4U, but now updated to 4.2U it is not a LU64/65 SN.

When I run the installer and choose Network install I get the following error.
Installing Custom IOS, Please wait...
>>Install ERROR! (ret = -2011)

Where can I fine IOS38-64-v3867.wad to do the installation manually?

Thanks;

I downloaded the files and created the wad of IOS38-64-v3867.wad then tried to install cIOS 15 again but with a wad installation and I go the same error.

I got the same error with WAD installation. I just used wi-fi and it downloaded and installed just fine.

everytime i put the .dol in the sd card under the apps folder it does't show up in the hbc.

rename it to boot.dol

also, make sure it is in a folder inside of the apps folder.

eg.

SD:\apps\ciosrev15\boot.dol

I do not recommend rev 15 however. it is buggy. My advice is stick with rev14.

Just put your wad in the root of your SD Card not in the /WAD directory.... It's the way to do when you install a cIOS without Internet...

Good luck...

Anybody using this Rev 15 with .wbfs games on a FAT partition and USB Loader GX? It's supposed to support them now, right? Or do you still need Hermes cIOS too?

I use it to boot Beatles Rock Band as it doesnt work with the Hermes 222 I use for any other game.. Works no problem

So are you dedicating a special WBFS partition just for The Beatles??

(since cIOS 15 doesn't support FAT)

I asked this because in the changelog there's a mentioning to this FAT support. Then, what is that about?

No I am loading it from a FAT partition using IOS 249 (V15).

BTW... In checking this I have also discovered that USB loader GX now runs it under IOS 222 now without it freezing anyway. But R15 definately supports FAT partitions

WTF? The post above just told me that IOS249 v15 didn't supported runing games from a FAT partition!

And they are WRONG... It tells you on the first page of this thread that it IS supported/Fixed and I use it with games on a fat partition through USB Loader GX so it definately works.

You can ask the coders of the FAT support, FAT usb loading will only work with Herme's cios. I don't know what kind of magic the above poster is doing that they think they got it working with 249, but it only works with hermes.

And also to the poster above, beatles rock band stars fine with either cios. If it didn't work correctly it was a loader problem.

Scratch all my comments.... USB loader GX defaults to IOS 222 no matter WHAT ios you select so its been giving me totally wrong information... Although the odd thing is that I did have certain games (like the beatles) that wouldnt load when 222 was selected but ran fine with 249 selected in the options... Thats why I thought it was working...
