Hacking cIOS rev 16 got released

Well is seems legit, loads and installs as cIOS rev 16..states rev 16 in Configurable USB Loader but still get error 001 when setting IOS249 in preloader to run discs from disc channel

Does this allow you to boot things like Metroid Prime Trilogy when using a Hard Drive (without doing that file replacing thing, I forgot what it's called).

Ok... neogamma beta 15 isnt recognising my usb drive now, and I can't launch any disks (get "timeout").

I'm going to try another version of neogamma and maybe softchip.

One of the beta versions i tested(months ago...) had problems with NeoGamma but worked with SoftChip. If SoftChip with Sam & Max fix enabled(or without that option in the menu) plays 001 games, 001 error is truly fixed. Well some games have a slightly different 001 error and need to be checked seperately(Wii Sports Resort and Wii Fit Plus).

Oh and 001 error should be always: "hey i can read data that doesn't exist on the disc, something is wrong!". It's not a question of IOS Reload, and it shouldn't be even a question of the used loader. 001 error in cIOSrev15 is some bug while 001 error is (theoretically) properly fixed.

SoftChip seems to be working with everything so far,

I've tested these games and I'll test some more later if needed.

Bleach Vs Crusade
Bleach Shattered Blade

but I don't know if these games have the 001 error.

The installer is way safer, than any dubious WAD file could be.

I know how it sounds, but the cIOS has to work correctly for NeoGamma not the other way around. cIOSrev15 caused 001 error on disc channel ==> 001 error on NeoGamma. If it should turn out that it works with disc channel, other loaders + SoftChip but not NeoGamma, it's cIOS' fault. NeoGamma's code works on IOS, so it also has to work on the cIOS. If not the games would just need some of NeoGamma's code and they would have good protection against that cIOS.

But hey, I've been using Rev14 up until now, hopefully now videos will play properly on Brawl.

Simply use Hermes' and set your loader of choice to use that for Brawl, works for me
