Hacking Cios Installer Read Retry Question

Hi there,

I want to install Wiigators read retry fix for the backup loader. I have the first release of the 0.3b version already installed on my Wii. To install the read retry fix version should I first Uninstall 0.3b and if so how would I go about this? Alternatively, if I shouldn't uninstall 0.3b, would I overwrite 0.3b if I installed the Read Retry Fix version using Wad Manager.

Any assistance in this matter would be welcome.

just install the read_retry fix. You neednt to uninstall something.

Hmmm....so am i following you right, i just use Wad Manager to install the dol and thats it right? Can I'm currently using Wad Manager 2.1 though...so do i need to upgrade to a later version in order to install .dol files?

Sorry I can't help, ReyRey, but would you mind linking me up with the file you have? I have tried to find the read retry fix, but it appears I am something of a cack handed retard, and my search has proved fruitless.

first of all you CANT install dol files you can only install WAD files ... dol files can be run from the homebrew channel and wad manager 2.1 doesnt exist the latest is 1.3 you probably mean wad installer 2.1
