But in simple explanation, yes. rename to boot.dol

where is the build of cios38rev17 with the dl sector bug fixed, i need it to play ssbb dvd9 version and metroid prime triliogy, and the newer cios has other issues, so i need this cios with the dl sector fixed

the only build i see this fixed with is the one included in sciifii, but i like it as an offical build, thats how i got it installed with dl bug fixed, but others wont have used sciifii

There is no official build of "rev17b" (I heard it is called that sometimes). Also, the bug in rev17 does only affect disc dumping, not disc reading when you play.

If you want to extract the rev17b, install it via Sciifii then dump it with bluedump.

This, like the earlier ones, does not work. The Wiimote shuts off when I try to press A to install, like always. Nice.

first of all, this thread\cIOS is 1.5 years old

secondly, any cIOS installer is run off a selected IOS, so most likely the problem is what steps you're doing, not the installer itself

thirdly, if u want cIOSs, use ModMii to get them in WAD form and install them using a wad manager
