Yeah, you can take your PS1 disc and back it up to run on PSP if using a custom firmware. Much better framerate than emulating the SNES version that way.

Plot wise Chrono Trigger was alright, nothing great. But it has the single best engine in an RPG to date! Hmm, I should play it again

Chrono Trigger = better & less linear then Earthbound. I mean of course after you are able to manipulate time.

Why hasn't this game been ported to a handheld yet? WHY DOES SQUARE HATE MONEY!?

Technically, the game was ported to the PlayStation (one) with some new animated scenes (they kept the rest of the game intact). I doubt a second port will be ever made. It WOULD be sweet to have a remake of the game, similar to what apparently they are gonna do with FF7 (it's still not 100% confirmed).

Yeah, I know about the PS port. It just seems like with all their recent ports/remakes/whatevers they've been making for handhelds lately, it's about time for Chrono Trigger to have a go in the portable market.
