This post has nothing to do with my family, my busy life, or good and bad things.
This is the post about the kickass gift i gave Wife® for xmas this year.
I gave her an arcade stick for the 360.
In fact, i bought this stick:
However, when she opened the box (to which i'm sure she was expecting to see the above picture), she saw this:
(just for suspense, it's in the spoiler. no, it's not a surprise item... it IS a stick, this is just funner. Yup. Funner.)

What i did: Obviously, the art. But i also pulled the stick and face buttons (the main 8), and threw in all Sanwa (high-end japanese arcade manufacturer. basically, when you want quality parts for sticks and cabinets, it's Sanwa or Seimitsu) parts. The stock parts of an SE stick are quite shit. I also changed the button layout. To make it MvC2 ready, moreso than SSF4 ready. For reference, check the buttons on any SF4 arcade stick, and look at the MvC Tournament Edition stick. nothing major, just what i did
Oh. And added an octo-gate. But that's minor
Quick rundown of her opening the gift:
She looked confused at the size of the box. She started opening it and when she saw the SF box, she sarcastically said "Oh... goodie." I said, keep going. She opened the box, paused, and actually started crying. She loves it.
