Hacking Choosing a flash-card

Hi,
im new to this forum
and im basicly new to the Nintendo DS lite gamer's community
i only got my nintendo DS lite yesterday
my question is :
what flash card should i buy ?
i want a flash card that can run games+saves without any problems
and that i could also run music and movies...
can i get any advise for that ? and a reason for why choosing the card ?

Well, I would probably recommend that you read the Reviews in the Reviews section of this site. Also, practically all of the current generation Flashcarts play almost all games with no problems (any incompatibility is almost always fixed swiftly by the developers, for the good cards that is). The only cards to stay away from are the R4s and the R4 clones.

there are slot 1 and slot 2 in the nintendo DS
if i wanna flash card that can run any games plus images / music / movies
i need slot1 or slot2 ? and can a supercard DS one run music+movie player ?

Nowadays, unless you want to play GBA ROMs/The NDS Browser/use Rumble you only need a Slot-1 Card. I think all the big current flashcarts will do what you want (i.e. CycloDS, Supercard DS ONE, M3DS Real, Acekard2, EZ-Flash V Plus, DSTT etc.), it's just a case of how much you want to pay, and what you think of each card from the reviews (the appearance of the case/position of MicroSD slot/opinions of build quality/the user interface).

SDHC compatability means its supports certain micro sd cards with the hc logo on it. Those cards are typical faster and have a larger memory.

The automatic DLDL patching is unimportant. Every card does it and its got to the point where it doesnt really matter for a user such as yourself.

SDHC is better SD cards. and DLDI I used to remember what it was but can't think of right now.

if im buying a supercard DS one as slot1
and as slot 2 i buy EZV 3in1
is there any connection between the two ?
for example there are games such as pokemon that can trade stuff from GBA games to NDS games
will that be possible ?

I know that you can with a cyclo if you save to NOR (I think).

DLDI is the method that lets a single *.nds homebrew file work on every single homebrew device out there, no matter how the flash cart interfaces with the microSD card and the code behind it. Automatic DLDI patching means you don't have to manually patch a homebrew file on the PC before putting it on your microSD card.

buy an acekard 2.1 and an ez flash 3-in-1. you can play both the DS games (on acekard 2.1) and GBA games (1 game at a time in NOR mode in ez flash 3-in-1)

your case is complete.

Im not familiar with supercard and i dont have an acekard 2.1 but will buy it.

you also need moonshell homebrew to use media files such as mp3.
