Hacking Chipmunk microphone voice?

I use AKAIO 1.4.1 REPACK firmware on my Acekard 2i.

I'm trying to run the My Japanese Coach ROM. Whenever I use the voice function, it's the weirdest thing, the playback of my voice saying the japanese words is double the speed and sounds like a chipmunk. The microphone works perfectly fine in Nintendogs, and in the official DSi sound recorder, it works great too. What's going on? Should I try a replacement ROM?

Ok, I tried all that.

DMA Quicksave mode (green) I still sound like a chipmunk.
Older DMA (red) the game gets stuck on the save screen, when I go to shut it off despite the warning because it won't let me do anything else, it corrupts the file.
Non DMA (blue) I still sound like a chipmunk, no improvement whatsoever.

Anyone else got any other ideas?

Why not you just use the official firmware made by Team Acekard to work to see that it get no chipmunk voice?

The official firmware won't be any better. AKAIO has much better ROM compatibility.
