Hacking Chip ID question (rom patcher v1.0)

Hi,

I'm patching my ROM with private headers.
Now the cart ID is exactly the same on the ROMs I patched but the Chip ID is slightly different.
Is this normal?

    If your throat closes, putting oxygen in your mouth will not solve anything - as you will be introducing oxygen prior to the area of obstruction
