Hacking ChickHen not working

My cousin's PSP is a PSP 3001.
His PSP is softmodded/whatever, and when he tries to load up ChickHEN, the PSP freezes.
We tried to make it work for, like, 30 tries.
What do we do?

You're waaaaay behind if you're still using chickHEN. Firmware is 5.03?

Update to either 6.20, 6.35, or the latest 6.39 and use the PRO Custom Firmware.

Assuming the CFW has been previously run, just search for "kxploit" and use that instead of ChickHen.
