ROM Hack Check for updates/DLC

What is the easiest way to JUST CHECK if my XCI/NSP on my PC ( I HAVE BOTH & TOOLS TO CONVERT, SO WHICHEVER IS EASIER ) have UPDATES & DLC? I can find ways to download. I just need to know what im looking for.

I use a Hombrew app called "HBG SHOP".

You can use this and download the DLC and Updates from a repository directly to your switch

Does that work if I am cdn banned? Will it work for xci on my usb hdd? Or only installed nsp.

So I'm new to XCI, all I had was NSP so I used NSCB to convert to XCI. I am using SX OS & had no issues with my NSP files. Put XCI on USB HDD. Now going into the menu, my switch crashes when scanning games. I use NSCB to verify THE SAME GAME both nsp & xci, both said corrupt. The NSP installed & played fine. So are XCI more picky? Can I repair corrupt XCI?

If you want to check for updates on your Switch, use HBG or TheBigPP.

If you want to check your NSP files on your PC for updates, use an old version of NUT server using an up to date title database.
