Narin has been hard at work in the deep dark dungeons of GBATemp, chained up and cheat-code-hacking! The database, as it currently compiles, holds over 1,200 Nintendo DS game cheats. The March 4th, 2009 database update is the largest to date! More information on this recent update can be found below.

The coolest code here IMO, is the ability to use voice chat in Metroid Prime Hunters during Wifi gameplay. It'd be epic if more wifi games will be able to be hacked to do this too!

Narin,

You have made playing Nintendo DS games an experience it never could be otherwise. It is tough to admit this to Nintendo, but you've made possible gaming that isn't otherwise available or as pleasant using the real hardware. In short, you make Nintendo DS piracy better than the real thing. Way more than changing brightness in game, real time save and load, even in game text reading, I like the cheats. I don't have as much time as I used to and some games are fun to cheat through. Others I've played enough and want to go through with controlled freedom. The work you put in is peerless and under appreciated. Datel's biggest folly would probably be not recruiting you with a cushy job.

Narin has made the GBAtemp cheat.dat one of the most highly sought after blocks of data for most flashcart users. This latest update was MASSIVE!

Just out of curiosity, how many downloads per update are there? That would be interesting info to have on cheats.gbatemp.net....next to each file could be a number in parenthesis that indicates how many times the file was downloaded. Not only could it be good info to know personally, it could also be a cool "fun fact" for GBAtemp members to know.

Just a suggestion.

Rock on, Narin! And also kudos to ALL the code hackers who's codes reside in the dat, you guys make the DS more fun to play, and fun is what's it all about.

I think they mean WiFi as in online play.

Normally it works only in friends matches during waiting rooms.........

Awesome! Narin added my codes for Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution to this update; check it out if you haven't. Now there are all kinds of different gold codes, not just the 50,000 gold code.

I have been immortalized in code. My day is complete.

Lol i redownloaded Metroid Prime Hunters to be in US version so i can take advantage of that voice chat cheat. It really sucks that you cant voicechat throughout gameplay normally.

Edit: WHYY!? Metroid freezes whenever i enable cheats. no matter what cheats
