I realized my mistake. The save slot was wrong.
So the diff is 2000.

This game's data in memory is probably serialized or encrypted. I think all thanks to having a PC version and they just left it in the switch version as well. They didn't encrypt the game save for switch, so that is the easy way to cheat.
Thanks for the information! Would you happen to have the URL to his website? I've been Googling...but when searching "ZiT" you can imagine the results that pop up (no pun intended), even when being paired with game and cheat related keywords.

dont forget to add the {master} code for the jap version. that is required for these to work:
the "400C0000" sets up the offset
the "6X0C11F0" write to the Reg+offset, but without the master code, offset alone will not work.
