Hacking cheat code with m3slot2

Hi guys, i've one m3 slot2 sd, i've found on the internet one code for pokemon soul silver, do you guys know how to make a cheat work with this adapter card?
Never tryed at the time and now i don't find any guide on the internet, only know that i should use a .cht file

Cheats don't work if your using Passme to play DS games off a slot2. Passme sits in the same spot as the cheat engine. You should be playing DS games from a slot1.
