which version of the game are you playing? are you playing the usa version? i have a plugin for my modded 3ds that lets me change memory values, maybe try changing the memory value 170C77DC and just make sure whatever is below the 01 column is 1E, i hope i helped but this might not work out so do this at your own risk, and just in case make a backup of your save, i think you can do this on 3ds emulators as well

I'm playing the usa version of the game on an emulator. I'd like an ar code since I don't think the emulator I'm using has a memory editor

3ds emulators out the gate don't, but you can use a plugin in the emulator.

I'm not certain if the plugin they're referring to is a one that can be used universally across multiple games or if it's a designated one for albw, either way it shouldn't be that difficult to find.

As for setting up in emulator? It's effectively the same way as on console.
