Cheapest way to read/write syscon PS4

PS4 Syscon Tools uses Teensy++ 2.0 which is about 30$.

New BwE UART Syscon Tools uses a cheap USB TTL device, however the write software is about 33$.

So either you buy a hardware device or software license.

Is there any way to read and write syscon using Arduino or any Raspberry pi version?
For users that are no pro, this might by a good alternate.

Raspberry Pi Pico has a UART interface. Board is $8 + shipping from places like DigiKey.

Would not recommend using Pico boards from AliExpress unless you know they're genuine.

I don't think that will ever come out a jailbreak after 11.00.
It is more than 2 years since the last exploit. All developers now focus on current exploit.
And if after 2-3 years a new jailbrake will be released then PS4 will probably be end of life.

I have a pro with 11.02 version.
I found a way using arduino. Probably Pi Pico will work but if only supported by PS4 Syscon Tools

Could you share some info about writing with arduino?

I've seen plenty of methods for reading but for writing syscon I've only found syscon tools with a teensy (~25€) or BwE (~30€ for software + UART reader another few €)

The BwE software seems to "detect unauthorized software" or something like that, so this method doesn't make much sense for me since it's already more expensive than just ordering a teensy2.0++

Speaking of syscon, I have a question, I picked a ps4 which has never hardly been used and was shelved by the owner, its was on 2.03 which I updated to 5.05 so I could use JB, But my question is should I have dumped the syscon before updating to 5.05 from 2.03 or doesn't it matter if I wanted to go bk for any reason to 2.03 would a syscon dump still work?
