Hardware Charger recommendations for new 3DS?

I like to have official stuff when I can, but in his case, I'd like to know if there are some good alternatives. Can be AC, USB, AC + USB, etc.

i think theres only an official ac adapter. im pretty sure there are 3rd party usb ones tho. then theres a cool official dock as well

This black Friday I did just that got a 20k mah powerbank for $15 and a USB cable that was recommended on an old reddit page for $6 so far so good best thing I've done since buying the n3ds.

I've had a few cables from Amazon that cost 3x as much that were absolute crap, but the 2 fasttech cables I bought about 6 months have been perfect. They also are the only vendor I've found that sells extremely high quality microUSB cables for cheap https://m.fasttech.com/products/1826400

One of the reviews for the USB-to-3DS cable states that it only charges at 0.1A. Wish I knew whether or not that's a problem.

He got a bad one, unfortunately, and in that case would take 5x as long to charge. Two out three cables I got from Amazon did that, one of the bad ones was by "Gator Crunch", the other two brands are defunct. The 3DS connector on all these cables just isn't very well manufactured, so it's a bit of a gamble if you get a good one or not. At least on fasttech they're so cheap you can buy a handful without any real risk.
Amazon has a 3-pack of what I'm 99% are the same Fasttech cables for $9 which is pretty decent for a non-Chinese shipper https://www.amazon.com/HDE-Charger-Power-Cable-Nintendo/dp/B00W3X5E62 currently OOS though.

I have several 3DS/DSi USB cables from ebay.

They are cheaper than Fasttech by about 59% and almost certainly the same thing. One or two of mine had a mis-shaped 3DS connector. I got a full refund on that. I have bought several though. Most are good. Absolutely no problems exceeding 0.1A (100mA) charge rate.
