Hacking Changing certain DLC's region consequences

I was wondering, what would happen if I changed a DLC's region to match my game's region and install it when that DLC wasn't out for my game's region? Would it corrupt the game data?

welp did u try? did it work?..if it actually works the DLC's data should be installed within the game's folder under "dev_hdd0/game" with it's edat files.
if not then the data will be separated in it's own folder i suppose.

Sorry, I haven't tried.

EDIT: I was told it won't corrupt the game data but it won't work because the game will simply ignore it since the underlying data assets (like maps, quests or items) don't exist within that game build and so the game will act as though no DLC is installed at all and the extra files will just sit uselessly on the HDD taking up space.
