Misc Change home menu size

I don't want to change the size of the icons. There is empty space at the end of the home menu. I know that the size of the home menu is set dynamically, so I hope there is a way to remove the unused space.

How would you get rid of unused space without making the icons bigger? What do you expect is going to take up the unused space?

Personally, I use the extra space to organize my folders and icons into groups.

If you never installed anything on your 3ds, the home menu has way less space for apps. As soon as you begin to fill this space, it dynamically extends. This has nothing to do how big the icons are. I want to remove some of this dynamically extended space that is unused.

I'm afraid I for one do not know what you are referring to..? The Home menu always has the same number of total spaces.

Nando is right, the official launcher expands (since some version?) as more icons are created, it starts at exactly 1 page when fully zoomed out and becomes, IIRC, 4?

I don't think anyone has made a save editor for the Home Menu to reduce them again (though you can erase its save - and reopen all of those nasty gimmick packages), nor a mod to force a certain maximum size...

That answered my question! I hope that someone is willing to provide an option for that. I don't think that I'm skilled enough to do this.
