Hacking cfw problem

Hello guys. My friend gives me a 3ds 1.0.0 but it is not chargeable. You should plug electricity. I updated 11.6 and i tried cfw everything good but I can't close the 3ds when I tried to close it's in sleep mode every time. Now I'm in Section II - ntrboot part and I can't do Hold (Start) + (Select) + (X) + (Power) I need help please somebody can help to me.

Did u power off before u placed the magnet and did the key combination?

Did u try to force shutdown it by pressing the power button for 10 seconds?
