Forgive me if this is a dumb question or anything, it's been a curious topic on my mind for a while.
Buuut...
Could you technically have one modded Switch console that has CFW and a bunch of games, while connected to the Nintendo Network-
And have a clean console that game shares with it?
So like... The vanilla Switch is made the primary system and it's sharing off the games from the CFW system? Could that still risk a ban, or would they not be able to tell the difference?
Like, the CFW Switch would never go online, it would just have a Nintendo Account so that game sharing can be active and that's all, the vanilla Switch would do everything else.
Sorry for the sloppy explanation, not good at trying to explain stuff haha

Yeah, you can have an account that is on multiple switch's that you can buy stuff on and use them interchangeably. I buy games on my cfw switch and play them on both the docked cfw switch and my lite. No problems.

But can you game share the backups from the CFW Switch over to a vanilla one without any issue?

Only if you have an online paid account with cloud save or put cfw on both and transfer sadly.

Bo u can't share warez
yeah because on vanilla switch's you would need a valid license to launch the game and a ticket.

And get both switches banned good idea buddy
I've been doing that since day 1.... Plus worst case you get console banned not account banned so it's really not gonna get you banned. Everyone is always throwing around the banned card but if you don't do anything illegal than you won't get banned. Putting cfw on the switch is also not illegal.

He's not talking about saves, he means load the CFW up with pirated games and then launch those games on the legit Switch via primary console tomfoolery which won't work.

How would you share them? You can't just copy and paste the contents from the SD card and expect the console to read them.
Digital bought games can be used on different switches, to a degree even on two at the same time (secondory switch with the nintendo account that own it, and primary switch with another account), so OP throught it would be possible to do the same with pirated games, which is not possible.

Exactly what I was asking. Thank you for clearing up what I meant, I'm bad at properly explaining my thoughts.
