CFW and Android

Hey all,

I want to install android on my Oled switch.

I use that switch all the time and dont want to lose all my Data from the CFW because it took many days to collect everything i needed.

When i want to follow the guids frome the Internet and Youtube i should use the Partition Manager and than i get the Pop-up:

Your Files will be wiped!

Any other partition will be also wiped!

USE USB UMS to copy them over!



Can anyone tell me how i can install Android and keep my other CFW untouched.

One More Question.
Is it Possible to just buy another SD card and install android on that ?
So i just turn off the switch and change the cards and have one for android and one for CFW ?

Sysnand won't be a problem as you can just copy the data on the card back to the card, as for the emunand you might have to recreate an new emunand and reinstall all your game, and transfer your save.

You are better off using one card, there is a 1.5TB card on the market so if you need more room go for that, it is not advise to keep switching SD card as the SD card slot on the switch is fragile.

so best was, get a bigger card, use partition manager and get one for cfw and one for android and than i can launch both with one sd ?

Yes you are better off using one card, if you break the SD card slot then you need to replace the daughter board.

You have several options to install it.
Dump your content and do a repartitioning, then you can restore your data.
Use a second sd card for android, the SD card slot on OLED isn't fragile like the V2 one.
Resize the emmc user partion and install android to emmc.
Install bigger emmc to your switch.
I do this mod if you interested for 130€
Including emmc interposer for dat0
(I live also in Germany)
