Hacking CFG Loader booting problem

When i try to open cfg WITH my usb drive plugged in the title screen of cfg freezes, but if i open the loader with drive plugged in it opens and once loader is retrying to find drive and plug it in it works. Help?

Could be a sleep mode issue. Check if there's a tool specific to your drive manufacturer for disabling HDD sleep.

I know how to do it to Computer hard drive not external. Plus I have 2 of the same hard drives 1 for Wii U Game, 2. (The Problem one) Wii & Gamecube games. And just the Wii & Gamecube cuz a problem.
