    Hi. I noticed that ccleaner has an uninstall program feature. What are the benefits of using it over windows own program uninstaller? Thanks.

    Well, supposedly, it will also remove all the registry entries that get left behind during a normal uninstall of any given program. Theoretically, this could mean that you can extend 30 day trial type software by removing it with CCleaner and then re-installing it.

    I think Your Uninstaller is even better for this specific function, personally.

    That's what I was hoping for, but when I checked the official website, I couldn't find nothing on it. If it really does this then I'm happy. =) Thanks for the info.

    I use it to remove entries that the programs list refuses to delete because there was an error during the uninstall and even though the files are gone, Windows refuses to remove the entry.
